The Outstanding Blogger Award 6

Thanks so much to Amber and Samantha @Bibliomavens for nominating me for this award! I love their blog so make sure you check it out!

Here are the rules for this tag:

  • Have the link to the creator’s original award post.
  • Answer the questions provided.
  • Create 7 unique questions.
  • Nominate 10 other bloggers. Neither the award’s creator nor the blogger that nominated you can be nominated.
  • At the end of 2020, every blog that ping-backs the creator’s original post will be entered to win the 2020 Outstanding Blogger Award!

Although we’re in 2021, I figured I would do this anyway as they are still unique questions!

What has been your most disappointing read ever?

This is making me think. starting off with a difficult question! I think The 100 series was very disappointing for me as I love the show so decided I had to read the books and then was not happy with what I found!

What book would you love to see adapted into a TV show or movie?

I would LOVE to see Throne of Glass or A Court of Thorns and Roses or even The Cruel Prince be adapted. However, I love them so much that I think I would also be extremely worried that they would be ruined as I’d want everything to be perfect.

If you could flee 2020 into any fictional world, where would you go?

I want to say Terrasen, Prythian or Elfhame as I would love to be in a fae world right now!

What artist/song do you currently have on repeat?

Taylor Swift. Forever and Always. I’ve been listening to evermore a lot since it came out. But also I still have the Julie and the Phantoms soundtrack on a lot also!

What 2021 book release are you most excited for?

A Court of Silver Flames, I am so excited for it!

What is your new year’s resolution for 2021?

I always have the same; to get better at playing my guitar, and I’ve had this resolution for years now and I’m slowly improving!

What kind of book hero/heroine would you be?

I’d like to say I’d be the badass character that’s fighting in the front lines of the battle but I don’t know how likely that’d be. However, towards the end of the year I took up running and one of my motivations was if I ever somehow find myself running from the villains in a mythical land then I need to be fit and able to run fast!

I nominate:

Karen @Twisted in Pages

Tiction @Fictionally Crazy

Musing of Souls

Sanah @Stories with Stardust

Francesca @Rarely in Reality

Kira @Kira Reads and Writes

Kirsten @The Novel Existence

Isha @Paperbacktomes

Sam @Literary Delirium

Pilar @The Bookworm Shelf

My Questions:

  1. What is your first read of 2021?
  2. Do you have any reading or blogging goals this year?
  3. What was your favourite book of 2020?
  4. What was you least favourite book of 2020?
  5. If you could only eat one food for the rest of you life, what would it be?
  6. Do you prefer writing book reviews or book tags?
  7. Have you got a book recommendation for me?

That wraps up today’s post. Thank you again to Amber and Samantha for nominating me!

Georgia x

  1. Congrats on the nomination! ✨

I think a show or movie adaptation for The Cruel Prince would be really cool! I’d be so happy if they could capture the atmosphere of Elfhame.

  2. I haven’t read The 100, but I love the show! Though I’m still not sure what I think about the ending. Did you like it?

Thank you so much for nominating me Georgia! I can’t wait to answer your questions ☺️

  3. Love all your answers! I agree with The 100! I loved the show (although, admittedly I’m terribly behind on watching it) and bought all three books after watching the first episode. This is one of the few instances where I will argue the TV show is 1000 times better than the books. Also love your resolution of getting better at guitar! I have that one every year too, but I just keep putting it on the backburner. Maybe this year I will do it! – Amber

  4. Congrats on the award Georgia!! I loved seeing your answers, omg I totally agree that while I sometimes want to see my favorite books get adapted, I always worry that any shows or movies won’t be as good as the source material. And YES! Taylor swift!! I’ve had evermore on repeat since it released as well. Thanks for the nomination!! ❤
