The Fantasy Winter Retreat Book Tag summary

You get to go on a week-long retreat to chill and have fun after the stressful 2020 experience. Set the scene of your dream winter retreat and, using the prompts, round up the characters you’d like to vacation with!

Step One: Travel destination and accommodation

I would like to be in a cosy ski lodge, surrounded by snow. SO maybe the Swiss Alps, or somewhere in Canada. There would be a massive, deep sofa. I could explore in the day and then read into the evenings and it would be perfect!

Step Two: Who’s Joining!?

A fun character who’s presence would cheer up any situation

I think this would have to be Cassian as he never fails to make me smile whilst reading ACOTAR! And I am so excited for him in A Court of Silver Flames!!

A character who would parent everyone

Alby in The Maze Runner. He does the perfect job of creating their home in the Glade, leading it and looking after everyone!

A character who would plan games and other activities

Either Sydney or Asher in Meet Me at Midnight. They’re both great at coming up with pranks so I think they would constantly keep the rest of us entertained!

A character who would rather cozy up in blankets and sleep/laze around all day

Hahaha this would be me! Maybe Chris from To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. She seems pretty relaxed 24/7!

A character who had to cancel other plans to be here

Maybe Bryce from House of Earth and Blood! She seems to be quite popular at the beginning of the book!

A character who brought their work along with them

Rhysand and/or Feyre, as a High Lord and Lady of the Night Court, I imagine they are very busy people and have a lot of work to do!

A character who would not leave their partner’s side

Rowan. I love that man (fae?) Writing this I am getting flashbacks to an incredible scene in Kingdom of Ash, that is making me so desperate to reread it!

A character who is amused by everyone’s antics

I feel like I’ve used a lot of Sarah J. Maas’ characters but I just can’t help loving them! I feel like Azriel would be amused by everyone’s antics, whilst also eventually joining in with them!
