I’m back with another book tag! Thank you so much to Isha @Paperbacktomes for tagging me in this. If you are not following her blog by now, then what are you doing! I love it and she always makes such great posts!
This tag seems so fun and I can’t wait to get into it! And yes, I am doing this instead of editing my dissertation, I have been procrastinating all day and just cannot bring myself to do it.
3 Read Once and Loved Authors.
Chloe Gong (These Violent Delights), Kerri Maniscalco (Kingdom of the Wicked) and Tricia Levenseller (The Shadows Between Us).
I know these authors have more books out, all except Chloe Gong, and I need to read them!
3 Titles I’ve Watched but Not Read.
A Discovery of Witches: I loved it and I need to read the books but part of me wants to see it played out on screen first.
His Dark Materials: It’s the exact same situation as A Discovery of Witches, I love it but ?I don’t want spoilers of the show now I’m invested!
The Lord of the Rings: I don’t know if I will ever read these, I find them so intimidating! But hopefully one day!
3 Series I have Binged.
I feel like I have binged a lot of book series! I binge a lot when I reread books in preparation for the next ones!
Some of those I’ve binged are: The Folk of the Air, A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Hunger Games.
I was once reading Mockingjay in the cinema for part 1 to make sure I’d read up to the right bit so it was all fresh in my memory!
3 Characters I love.
This question is so tricky as I have so many!
Some of my favourites are: Cordelia Carstairs from Chain of Gold, Elide Lochan from Empire of Storms, and Gideon from Curse of Celts.
3 Current Favourite Covers.
These three are some of my favourites on my shelf at the moment! I love the colours and the design and I just find them so pretty!
3 Weirdest things I’ve used for bookmarks.
I actually use bookmarks haha, I may have used weird things for temporary bookmarks whilst I go and get something.
For a temporary bookmark I have used my phone, a piece of paper and I really can’t think of anything else!
3 Favourite Authors.
Sarah J. Maas, Holly Black and Marissa Meyer.
3 Unpopular Bookish Opinions.
I read the Shadow and Bone trilogy and was rooting for Malina the whole time, I am not a fan of the Darkling.
I really liked New Moon when I read it and was a big fan of Jacob.
I really like The Maze Runner, especially the films.
3 Book Goals For the Year.
Finish my Goodreads Challenge – I’m currently on 27/75 so I figure I should be able to do that!
Read more books with diverse characters and OwnVoices novels.
Read the majority of books on my physical TBR.
I tag…
Cherry @ Letters to the Lost
Becky @ Becky’s Book Blog
Ali @ Ali’s Books
This was such a fun tag to do, and a nice break from my avoidance of university work! Do we share any similar opinions?
Georgia x
Love this! I was also rooting for Malina 🙂

Ooh I love this tag and your answers Georgia! The Hunger Games was one of the first series I ever binged, so I can definitely relate to that one. And ahh a fellow Malina shipper?!?! 🤩 The Darkling is definitely a fascinating character, but I don’t really think he would make a great romantic partner 😂 On the other hand I feel like Mal gets a lot of hate for being a normal teenage boy and that makes me pretty sad 😔
Great post!! 💜

Love this post Georgia, and great answers! I also haven’t read A discovery of Witches & I definitely binged the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. Thanks so much for the tag 😀

Thank you! My mum’s been getting at me to read the trilogy for ages and I’m like I will but I don’t have time right now ahah!

Hahaha I know that feeling! I’m always wary of starting a series now, especially with my TBR being as crazy as it is 😀

Thanks so much for tagging me, I loved reading your answers! I’m not gonna lie, I was also Team Jacob, and I think New Moon was my favorite because Jacob was actually really nice to Bella 😅

I don’t know why, but I just LOVE that you carried Mockingjay into the cinema!! I think because it’s so something I would do. LOL! Thanks for the tag!

Hahaha, I underestimated how long it would take me to read it so I was reading it on the bus there too ahaha!

Fun tag! I have not read the LOTR books, either. One of these days I’ll get around to it.

I just reread the Shadow and Bone series, and the Darkling is terrible! I’m 100% team Malina. However, I’m totally team Edward for Twilight. lol

Yes, I was not a fan of him at all and then went on twitter and everyone loves him hhaha. I love Edward too so I think I just went through a blip when only Jacob was there hahah!

No problem! It’s too hard to put them down once it’s a matter of survival for the characters haha!

What do you mean you liked JACOB?!?!?! Honestly, ever since I first watched the films and read the books I don’t get the appeal 😅 I mean, Jacob on his own is fine, but Jacob in love with Bella gets on my nerves (because of his extreme jealousy). And I haven’t read The Maze Runner, but I watched the films for the first time a few months ago. They’re good, but not my favorite. I guess if I ever read the books I might appreciate them more.
Lovely post as always Georgia ☺️
