Hi everyone! First off I want to say thank you so much for 200 followers! I never expected this to happen so early on in the year! I think in my post about goals for 2021 I wanted to reach 200 followers by the end of the year, so it means so much to me that it’s already happened!
I’ve been tagged in this by so many amazing blogs and the creators of this tag too! If you haven’t already, I really recommend checking all these blogs out as they post great content! Thank you so much to Amber and Samantha @ Bibliomavens (the creators of this tag), Cherry @ Letters to the Lost, Becky @ Becky’s Book Blog and Emily @ Frappes and Fiction!

Who is your all-time favourite book character?
This is such a difficult question but I think I would have to chose either Aelin from Throne of Glass or Jude from The Cruel Prince. I am also rereading Chain of Gold at the moment and it’s reminding me how much I love Cordelia!
If you were stranded on a desert island, which book would you take with you? (Survival books do not count)
It would have to be a long one or one I wouldn’t mind reading over and over again! Annoyingly a lot of the books I love are part of series. I’d maybe take my copy of Les Miserable cause I’ve never read it and I would have no distractions!
What’s your most unpopular book opinion?
I said this in a post the other day and more people agreed with me than I though would! But I think my most unpopular one is that I shipped Malina from the beginning of Shadow and Bone and am not a fan of the Darkling!
What’s your weirdest bookish habit?
I don’t know if I have any of these! Maybe that I have to end a period of reading at a new chapter. I hate leaving a book if I haven’t finished the chapter, it irritates me so much!
What character would you bring to a family event as your fake partner?
I feel like James Herondale would be a gem at a family event. I think he’d be very respectable, but also fun!
What made you decide to start a book blog?
It was sort of a combination of things really. I’m interested in a career in publishing and I’ve read that having an online presence can be useful, I also wanted to share my love of books and my recommendations! It also helps that now I have access to ARCs, that may have been a persuader to set a blog up!
What about reading and books do you love the most?
The escapism. I love being able to pick up a book and be fully immersed in another world and meet other characters. I love that I can form attachments to these characters despite never having met them.
What is your field of study/desired profession/current profession?
I am currently in my final year at university. And I really want a career in publishing, I think in the publicity department!
What are some book recommendations that became your favourites/obsessions?
My friend told me to read Throne of Glass and she met Sarah J. Maas at a signing and said how nice she was. I then obviously had to binge read the four or five books that were out at the time and I became obsessed and they are now my favourite! Sadly, Maas has never been back to that waterstones!
I also remember being at my childminders in Year 6 and one of the boys who was my age was reading a book called The Hunger Games. I made a joke about it being a book where people eat food constantly, oh how wrong I was. He then let me read the blurb and I went home and bought the books. The Hunger Games holds a special place in my heart cause it helped me get into YA dystopia and then fantasy.
What is the book you shove down everyone’s throat?
I’m not sure about one book. I tend to read series and shove those down people’s throats! One underrated trilogy that i think everyone should read is the Renegades trilogy by Marissa Meyer.

The Hunger Games was my first YA dystopia as well! Although the trilogy is no longer an all-time favorite, I owe it my current love for YA books.
And ahh so many congratulations on 200 followers!! 🥳 You should be so proud of yourself 💖

TOG is the series that bought my love of reading back, so much that now I have a book blog.. The Hunger Games is such a classic, I remember being so obsessed with the series (I think I probably read them like 3 times!). I was always team Peeta 😊

And yes, a fellow Malina shipper!! I honestly don’t understand why the bookish community hates poor Mal so much 😥 And I’m getting ready to love him all over again in the TV show!

Congrats on 200 followers Georgia!! You’ve earned it and deserve it sooo much! I’m so happy for you 🥳🥳🎉🎉
I would totally bring James Herondale to a family event as well. He is so nice and would charm everyone, but also would make sure we’re having a great time! And that question about the stranded desert island… I have no idea what book I would bring! Les Mis is a great choice, but I’m very intimidated by it 😅
Loved all your answers Georgia and congrats again ☺️

Thank you! James is the perfect companion! I’m so intimidated by Les Mis but maybe being on a desert island would make me read it!

Congrats on reaching 200 followers! So early in the year too, so that’s great! Loved reading your answers. Also, I’m starting Shadow and Bone soon so I finally get to see what all the fuss is about over the Darkling… not sure if I’m excited or not, haha.
I don’t care much for The Hunger Games, but it got so many people I know into reading or into YA, which is always great to hear! Also I share your weird bookish habit. Never really thought of it being weird before, but I realize now a lot of people can just stop reading in the middle of a chapter, and I can’t stand doing that.

Wow!! That is soo awesome!! I was going to see her tour of Chain of Gold and my in-laws didn’t tell us they were coming and I couldn’t go. They told us two days before when they were arriving. I had to cancel my sons first swim lesson too. So, I’m salty! haha. This is right before covid.. so who knows when we will get the chance to meet authors again!! ❤

I loved reading all your answers to these questions!
I also cannot stop reading unless the chapter is done. It’s literally impossible for me to close a book midway through. I could be half asleep and have no idea what I am reading, but I will plow through just to get to the end of that chapter.
Congrats on the 200 followers Georgia! You and your blog are amazing and you deserve all the followers! – Amber
