TTT: Places in Books I’d Love to Live

It feels absolutely ridiculous to me that we are almost at the end of March! And today’s weather is 21 degrees and it kind of feels like summer!

Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by ThatArtsyReaderGirl. You’ll find the rest of the topics listed on her page! This week’s topic is places in books I’d love to live. I feel like I have so many of these so finding ten shouldn’t be too hard!

I feel like this is a no brainer. Velaris looks stunning and the perfect place to live in. Every time I see an illustration, I am insanely jealous of Rhys, Feyre and the rest of the court that they live there!

I would just lie to visit Aelin and Rowan and the rest of her court so much! Terrasen sounds amazing and I want to go!

I also want to go where Dorian is. I love him and having spent the majority of the Throne of Glass books here, I would quite like to see what it’s like!

Please take me to fairyland to be with Jude and Cardan. As long as I don’t become a bewitched servant, I’m fine!

The London Institute

Having recently finished Chain of Iron, I love the characters at the London Institute, and wouldn’t mind becoming a Shadowhunter and fighting demons if I can spend my time with The Merry Thieves, Cordelia and Lucie.

I feel like everyone at some point wants to live at Hogwarts. A school about magic? Sign me up!

Whenever I imagined this, I just thought of a beautiful castle surrounded by gorgeous gardens and I want to live there so badly, please. I also need to be in Emberfall to check on Rhen and see if he’s doing okay.

Gallagher Academy

Basically a school for spies, I was obsessed with these books when I was younger and honestly I still want to go to a school for spies.

Camp Half Blood

I honestly just think this would be so fun. I really want to play a game of Capture the Flag with these characters and I really need to reread these books to re-experience the magic.

Austermeer’s Great Libraries

Who doesn’t want to live in a library with magical books?

This does make my list eleven. But Neverland has to be included. I would love to live in Neverland where life seems simple and I never have to worry about growing up!

This post was fun to create, there are so many more fictional places I would love to live in but there are also quite a few I wouldn’t want to live in, The Hunger Games being one of them!

Do you want to live in any of these places?

  1. Excellent selection! I would live in most of these (I’ve heard of them all, but still need to read a lot of their associated books) – I could not pick a favorite, but I might have to go with Hogwarts since I wanted that first when I was little haha

  2. You said it was 21 degrees and I was so confused because that’s super cold and then I realized that you probably don’t use Fahrenheit… haha. Neverland and Camp Half Blood were on my list, but oh I’d love to visit Emberfall as well! I keep seeing Austermeer’s Great Library, and what book/series is that from? I’ve just somehow missed a book about an entire magical library, and I have no idea how?!
