Hi everyone! I’ve been fairly busy in the last few days, so haven’t read much, but I thought I’d do this tag that I was tagged in back in May! So this one has been sat on a list waiting for me to complete it!

What was your last 5 star read and why?

My last 5 star read was Once Upon A Broken Heart, and I adored it. I couldn’t put it down and it just felt like a solid 5 star read because of how much I wanted to keep reading. I give out a lot of 5 stars but that’s because I really enjoyed the books!

Recommend a book for each season?

Spring – Bone Crier’s Dawn by Kathryn Purdie

Summer – Meet Me at Midnight by Jessica Pennington

Autumn – House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A Craig

Winter – Let it Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle

If you weren’t a reader what do you think you would spend your time doing instead?

I have no idea, I feel like all I do is read in my spare time! Maybe I’d become addicted to tv more haha! Or maybe I would play my guitar and piano more!

What book would you love to see turned into a movie or tv show?

I would love to see Throne of Glass as a tv show, but only if it’s perfect!

Which fictional character would you want to travel the world with?

Kiva from The Prison Healer or Aelin from the Throne of Glass series! I feel like they’d both be pretty cool people to travel with! And if I get injured, Kiva can help me out!

Most anticipated release for this year?

My most anticipated releases for the rest of the year are The Gilded Cage by Lynette Noni, Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong, and I will say The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L Armentrout, even though it came out a few months ago, I still haven’t got to it!

Why did you decide to start blogging?

It was a mixture of reasons really! I was jealous of people getting ARC’s, and knew this was a way to get some haha! I would like a career in publishing and had read that having an online presence can be useful. I also wanted a place where I could talk about my favourite books and share my opinions, as many of my friends don’t read like I do!

What is your favourite thing about blogging.

I love the community, and it has definitely made me read a lot more as I’ve discovered so many books through reviews and recommendations!

Is there a specific book or series that made you fall in love with reading?

Not really, I’ve always been an avid reader since I could first read. First, I was obsessed with the Rainbow Magic books, and then it was horse books! It may have been The Hunger Games that properly introduced me to the dystopian/science-fiction/fantasy genre!

Favourite fictional pairing? (Romantic or Platonic)

Oh gosh! This is tricky, I feel like I have so many favourites! One of them is Aelin and Rowan from Throne of Glass, as I am obsessed with them!

What book do you plan on reading next?

I have my ARC of Our Violent Ends up next, and I am so excited!
