Has a book ever changed your life? If yes, which book is it?
This is a tricky one, and I can think of many for different reasons. But I’m going to go with The Hunger Games, because it was the first proper YA book that I read, and it was the first book that really made me stop reading books about horses as much!
What book or series do you hope and pray will be turned into a movie or TV show one day?
I really want the Throne of Glass series to become a tv show, sort of like Game of Thrones level. Maybe there is hope because ACOTAR is getting a tv show!
What attracts you to a book? The cover? Blurb? Recommendation from others?
SO many things, if I’m browsing a bookshop then it’s usually a cover that will draw me to a book, but the synopsis would make me buy it. If it’s online, then it’s either a review or a lot of the time, if someone says the romance is good and swoon-worthy, then I’m sold!
Are there any books that are really popular but you dislike?
Not any that I can think of that I actively dislike. There are popular books that I haven’t read because I don’t think they sound that interesting from when I’ve read the synopsis.
Are there any books that are considered terrible but are your secret pleasure?
Some people hate the Selection series, but I adore them. Kiera Cass’ books are so addictive and the romance is so swoon-worthy I can’t not read them!
Other than that, I suppose some people invalidate Wattpad books, but reading on there will always be my guilty pleasure!
What’s your favorite book cover?
I have so many! The Cruel Prince, Kingdom of the Cursed, and Fangirl are examples of some of my faves!
Thoughts on second hand books?
I love the idea of them, but personally I don’t have many. I like to buy my books new as I love them to be in the best condition possible, and a lot of my books are new releases too.
How many books do you read a month? (On an average)
It seems to be between 8 and 12 most often, but it does sometimes go below or over that too!
What deceased author would you have liked to meet?
I think meeting Tolkien would be amazing!
What book will you read next?
I’ve just finished The Girl Who Belonged to the Sea, and it was amazing! So I’m picking out my new book this evening, and I think I will read Cruel Wolves and Devious Deceptions!
I’m not going to tag anyone for this one, but if anyone fancies doing this tag then go for it!
Thanks so much again Riddhi for these amazing questions, I loved answering them!
