The Joy of Christmas Book Tag

Hey everyone! I thought I’d get in the Christmas spirit with a Christmas book tag! I’m going to see Nativity the Musical today and thought I should do a Christmas-y book tag too. I saw this one over on Hannah @Hannah’s Book Blog 101 and knew I had to do it!

Anticipation: The Christmas excitement is real, what book release(s) are you most anticipating?

I am dying to get my hands on The Stolen Heir and Chain of Thorns. I don’t know what I’ll do when they’re finally out!

Christmas Songs & Carols: What book or author can you not help but sing its praises?

Marissa Meyer is on eo fmy all time favourite authors. And I think her work should be appreciated so much more! The Lunar Chronicles, The Renegades, and Gilded are amazing! Don’t even get me started on Heartless!

Gingerbread Houses: What book or series has wonderful world-building?

The Prison Healer trilogy is so good. The world is so immersive and we discover so much more with each book. I definitely recommend them if you’ve not read them yet!

A Christmas Carol: Favourite classic or one that you want to read?

I don’t really read classics, but the one I have read is Emma and I enjoyed it!

Christmas Sweets: What book would you love to receive for Christmas?

I would love to return to the Grishaverse with Demon in the Wood. Although I’m not the Darkling’s biggest fan, I really want to read this one!

Candles in the Window: What book gives you that warm fuzzy feeling?

This book felt so cosy and I was obsessed with their romance. Please do yourself a favour and read The American Roommate Experiment.

Christmas Trees & Decorations: What are some of your favourite book covers?

This was a fun tag and if you fancy doing it feel free! I’m not going to squeeze in as much reading as I can before I get too busy with Christmas-y things!
