I've not read masses since last week but I have read bits! I go away in two weeks so I'm hoping to read a lot on the beach (hopefully the weather is sunny)! The Three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next?

WWW Wednesday – 10th May 2023

This week has been a slow reading week! I want to be back in my fantasy phase but I keep getting pulled towards the romance books! The Three W’s are: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next?

Book Reviews

Foul Lady Fortune ARC Review

I loved this book so so much! I went in with high expectations as I adored These Violent Delights and Our Violent Ends, and Chloe Gong did not disappoint. I read this in almost one sitting because I couldn't leave these characters alone for too long.

Princess of Souls ARC Review

I cannot express how much I loved this. I love fairytale retellings and To Kill a Kingdom is one of my favourite fairytale standalones so I had to read Princess of Souls which is set in the same world. It was so good and I love how Christo takes inspiration from Rapunzel and grows her story from the original, rather than keeping it so close to the story.

2023 Book Quotes: 21-30

Hey everyone! Since being off work and unable to do much because of my injury, I've had a lot of time to read so I'm already past 30 books, which means it's time for the next instalment of book quotes. Since 2013 I have kept a quote jar and every time I finish a book I add a quote from it to my jar. I’m going to share these in groups of 10 as I read them and it’s time for books 21 to 30!

Blog Tour: The Thirteenth Hour Book Review

This book was so fun! The worldbuilding was intense, but once I'd wrapped my head around it, I could vision it perfectly. The Thirteenth Hour is set in a world where there are twelve gods and each mortal is affiliated with a god. Their power and physicality is all dependent on which god they serve.

Blog Tour: Silver in the Bone ARC Review

Silver in the Bone had me hooked. I love Merlin (the tv show) and it got me obsessed with Arthurian legends, so whenever there's a book remotely related to that time period or those stories, I have to read it! This book is a YA urban fantasy inspired by Arthurian legends and I loved it.
