Monthly Wrap-ups

Monthly Wrap-Up: December 2021

Better late than never! I figured I needed to do my December wrap-up before I can do my 2021 wrap-up!

I was quite busy in December with assignments and seeing family and friends, so I didn’t get as much chance to read as I would have liked to, but I still managed to read seven books!

My favourite book was Kingdom of the Cursed.

Odriel’s Heirs

Odriel's Heirs (Odriel's Heirs, #1)

This was a BBNYA finalist and came 5th place! I really enjoyed this one and am so behind on reviews that I haven’t written one for this yet! This was an intriguing fantasy story with high stakes and a rivals to lovers!

Voice of War

Voice of War (Threadlight, #1)

This came 11th place in the BBNYA competition. I enjoyed this one and thought the world-building was rellay interesting. Told from two points of view, this story had me hooked, wondering what was going to happen next!

The Holiday Swap

The Holiday Swap

This was the perfect December read! I loved this and both romances were so sweet! It was slightly stressful at times with the twins keeping their swap a secret for a long time, but everything ended up perfect!

All of Us Villains

All of Us Villains (All of Us Villains, #1)

Wow. This book! I cannot get over how good and addictive it was! I am obsessed with the world building and the characters and the storyline! I had an ARC of this but I think I will be purchasing a physical copy to go on my shelves, cause I loved this so much!

From Fame to Ruin

From Fame to Ruin: A Romantic Thriller Standalone Novel

I don’t tend to read this genre very much, but I was hooked! The romance and the thriller aspects of this book worked really well together and I was so intrigued with the plot.

Kingdom of the Wicked

Kingdom of the Wicked (Kingdom of the Wicked, #1)

I reread Kingdom of the Wicked in preparation for the sequel, and it did not disappoint a second time! I love the characters (Wrath) in this book and the setting is so eery, it fits the book perfectly!

Kingdom of the Cursed

Kingdom of the Cursed (Kingdom of the Wicked, #2)

I loved Kingdom of the Wicked, but this was just a step up! The story got so much better, the intrigue, the romance, the characters, everything was more developed! I really enjoyed this one and it was a great full book to end the year on!

That’s it for my December reads! Has anyone read any of these? What did you think of them?
